At Hodge Design & Remodeling, we work as a team to provide the highest level of satisfaction and service for each client, on every job. With decades of experience remodeling homes and designing kitchens, bathrooms and additions, the Hodge Team puts our qualifications and expertise to work for you and your project.
The cornerstone on which our company is built is to“always do the right thing.” You can make this as complex or as simple as you want, but the basic principle is the same: we know the right thing to do— and we do it.
Amanda Hodge
Owner / Sales
If you landed on our website because you know Larry Hodge, then chances are you also know his daughter Amanda. Amanda grew up in construction spending many Saturday mornings riding from job site to job site with her father, Larry. She began working for Hodge Design & Remodeling in 2002 as a part-time administrative assistant. After 8 years in various roles at HDR, she chose the path less traveled and moved to Atlanta. However, no one can leave the Classic City forever, and she returned in 2016. After several years managing projects in the commercial roofing industry, she returned to HDR in 2018. Amanda is an active member in the Remodelers Advantage Roundtables and is in the process of getting her General Contractors License. She is also Lead Safe Certified. Amanda purchased Hodge Design & Remodeling from her father in 2023.
As the Owner of Hodge Design & Remodeling, Amanda will be by your side for the entirety of your project. From the initial phone call you make to the office, throughout the design process and the duration of construction, and as part of your completion walk through. Your constant in the Design Build process is Amanda.
Anna Edenfield Hodge
Owner / Account Manager
Anna began working for Hodge Design & Remodeling in 2022 as an Account Manager. Anna graduated summa cum laude from Reinhardt University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration. She worked in the corporate world for a Fortune 500 company for 12 years.
Anna is responsible for creating processes and protocols for the company, operating as an office administrator and managing budgets for the company. As Account Manager, Anna is your go-to in the office regarding invoices, payments, and anything else finance related.
Mitchell Whitehead
Estimator
Mitchell joined the Hodge Design & Remodeling team in July of 2022 as our Assistant Estimator. He trained with Larry Hodge who taught him the HDR way. As of 2024, Larry has passed the estimator torch, and Mitchell is now Hodge Design & Remodeling’s Estimator. Mitchell has several years of hands-on carpentry experience as well as being a 2021 Gwinnett Technical College graduate, with a degree in Residential Construction Management.
Greg King
Senior Project Manager
Greg has worked for Hodge Design & Remodeling for nearly 25 years. When Hodge Design & Remodeling began in 1996, he, Larry, and Sheila were the original trio. There is so much to be said about the dedication, loyalty and sheer knowledge that comes from such long tenure with a company. HDR would not be what it is today without him. Greg is our jack-of-all-trades. After serving our country as a mechanic in the Army for 20 years, he can fix just about anything he touches.
His training includes his designation as a Residential Construction Superintendent through the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB). Greg is also a Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM) and has completed year-long training with The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). He is also Lead Safe Certified.
Justin Rasmussen
Project Manager / Lead Carpenter
Justin has worked for Hodge Design & Remodeling for over seven years and has fifteen years of carpentry experience. He is not only a Project Manager, he is also our Lead Carpenter. He is incredibly detail-oriented, and we can personally attest to his amazing talent in carpentry. You can rest assured he will remember all of the nitty gritty details of your project.
Justin is a Certified Remodeling Project Manager (CRPM) and has completed year-long training with The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). He is also Lead Safe Certified.
Bryce Holland
Field Team
Bryce joined the Hodge Design & Remodeling team in early 2019. He is currently part of our Field Team and assists our Project Managers on a daily basis. In addition to this, Bryce manages our inventory, tools and supplies. Bryce is also Lead Safe Certified.
Sheila and Larry Hodge
Founders / Consultants
Larry established Larry Hodge Construction in 1996. To reflect growth and changes in the industry, the company’s name was changed to Hodge Design & Remodeling in 2006.“Our name changed, but our standards didn’t.” Honesty and integrity are the foundation on which Larry built Hodge Design & Remodeling. Sheila has worked for Hodge Design & Remodeling since its inception more than 20 years ago as the CFO.
In 2020, Larry and Amanda began the process of transitioning the company from “Larry’s” to “Amanda’s,” and in 2023 the transition was complete. But wait! Before you say, “Oh no! Larry is gone?” Fret not! Larry is still in the picture and in the office nearly every week. HDR will always be the company he built, and Amanda will always hold onto the extremely high standards and number one goal of client satisfaction, providing the very best service that Larry started the company with many moons ago.
While Sheila has passed the torch to Anna regarding all things office and finance related, she remains a constant in the company as a wealth of knowledge.
