Using Essential Oils to Mask the Smell of Paint

Fun Remodeling Life Hack:

Did you know that adding lemon essential oil to paint will counteract any unpleasant “new paint” smell? And because essential oils are not fatty oils, they will leave no oil spots on the walls.

Simply add 1 TSP (5ml) pure lemon essential oil to 1 gallon of paint and mix well. We personally love Young Living Essential Oils.
